服饰

习俗禁忌
墨西哥人醉不喜欢的颜色是紫色,醉喜欢的颜色是白色,醉讨厌的数字是13,忌食狗肉。墨西哥人认为紫色是不吉利的棺材色,应避免使用。由此而演变出一大忌---向墨西哥人送礼物,不能送紫色类的物品或以紫色包装的礼品。穿紫色系的衣服在访问别人,或招摇过市,一样也不受欢迎。在墨西哥,黄色花表示死亡,红色花表示符咒。商务活动中要注意,在墨西哥微笑和握手是他们的问候方式。
在墨西哥,一般不要询问对方、尤其是女性的年龄,不要随便打听别人的婚姻状况,也不要探问别人的工资、收入和财产等情况。墨西哥教堂活动较多,如果正好遇到宗教活动,应静静观赏,不要上前打扰,尤其注意不要与教徒谈论相关话题,更不要随便提及瓜达卢佩圣母,因为这被认为是亵渎神明的行为。如果到墨西哥的印地安民族聚居地参观,要注意尊重当地人的习俗和信仰,不要贸然行事,以免做出对他们崇拜的神灵不敬的行为。
